Jessica is a critically acclaimed actress and playwright. She created, wrote, and starred in Walking With Bubbles, which earned her a Drama Desk nomination and won the Off-Broadway Alliance award for Best Solo Show in 2023. Broadway audiences know her well, having appeared in CATS in both the original and the revival as "Grizabella," Disney's AIDA as "Amneris," and AMOUR. Several National Tours, Off-Broadway and Regional shows, as well as countless guest-concert appearances with symphonies and orchestras across North America. In 2004, her work on the album Sondheim Unplugged Vol 3 earned a Grammy nomination.

Brianna Kothari Barnes is a 2022 NYC Women's Fund Grant Recipient and 2021 Finalist for The Jonathan Larson Grant. Her guitar-forward original music is featured in the new musicals Walking With Bubbles (Drama Desk Nomination, Off-Broadway Alliance Award) and Rathskeller: A Musical Elixir (The Z Theatre, SheATL Festival), as well as in her album Hierophanies, all available on streaming platforms.
