On Women Festival
Walking With Bubbles
took its first steps as a play with music at the
On Women Festival in March of 2021 at the Irondale Theatre in Brooklyn, New York.
Team Bubbles
The next steps were big ones. Songwriter and composer Brianna Kothari Barnes joined the team to further develop the show. Soon, after several rehearsals, workshops, and a NYC reading, Walking With Bubbles had evolved into a full-blown musical.
In The Works - In the Woods
In September of 2021,
Walking With Bubbles was chosen to be a part of the In The Works - In The Woods Festival at the Forestburgh Playhouse located in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
2023
Off Broadway Run
On April 10th 2023,
Walking With Bubbles triumphantly opened
Off-Broadway at the AMT Theatre in Midtown Manhattan. It ran until Sept 10th, 2023, to critical and rave reviews.
