Jessica Hendy is a critically acclaimed actress and writer. Her show, Walking With Bubbles, is adapted from the pages of her memoir, which is currently unpublished. Her most recent Broadway show was the 2016 revival of CATS. Jessica is the only person in history with the unique distinction of being in the Broadway revival of CATS, not to mention being in the final cast of the original Broadway production at the Winter Garden Theatre, where she played and made her Broadway debut as “Grizabella.” Her other Broadway credits include AIDA (Amneris) and AMOUR. She made her Radio City Music Hall debut in The New York Spring Spectacular alongside The world-famous ROCKETTES. Jessica has toured Nationally and in Canada with CATS (Grizabella) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator). She played “Diana Goodman” in the regional premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winning musical Next To Normal at The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, which earned her an ACCLAIM Award. Other selected regional productions include Pittsburgh CLO and North Shore Music Theatre in Miss Saigon (Ellen) and the Helen Hayes Perf Arts Center in Songs For A New World with Jason Robert Brown. She also played “Donna” in the Terrence Mann directed production of Mamma Mia at Connecticut Rep. NYC pre-broadway workshops include Poupelle of Chimneytown, Dance of the Vampires, AIDA, and The Molly Maguires. Jessica has worked and sung on many demos of new musicals and compilation recordings, and is a regular guest singer at the world-famous 54 Below. She travels to countless symphonies and orchestras in North America, headlining their POPS concerts. A native of Cincinnati Ohio, she attended the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati for musical theatre. After six-plus years of development, she is thrilled to bring Walking With Bubbles to the stage and share her story with the world. Ms. Barnes is a multi-dimensional artist who works professionally as an actor, singer-songwriter, and composer/lyricist. She is a Finalist for The American Theatre Wing’s 2021 Jonathan Larson Grant. A graduate of the esteemed Musical Theater Program at The College Conservatory of Music - The University of Cincinnati (CCM), she has performed principal, ensemble, and understudy/swing roles professionally around the country at The Engeman Theater, The Wick Theater, Theatre Aspen, and Capital Repertory Theater and starred as Lucy in The National Tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Brianna directed and produced her first original musical, LET THERE BE LIGHT (Book, Music, & Lyrics), which won Best Musical and Best Score at The New York Theatre Festival in 2018.

In 2021 she was commissioned by Dame Productions as Composer/Lyricist for the new rock musical, RATHSKELLER, which premiered in September 2021 in NYC’s West Village at The New Ohio Theater and won Best Musical in Broadway World’s Off-Off-Broadway Awards. Her next musical, THE PRESENCE (Book, Music, and Lyrics) is currently in development. Her debut album, HIEROPHANIES: MANIFESTATIONS OF THE SACRED, made the first round on the GRAMMY Awards® ballot for consideration under Best Contemporary Christian Album.  It features 8 original songs and was recorded with 4X GRAMMY® Winning Engineer, Denise Barbarita, at MONOLisa Studios in NYC. Richard Hess has been a director of plays and musicals for the past forty years. He is especially proud of his work on the development of new works. Favorite new works include the Los Angeles staging of the one-woman show Besame Mucho, O.K. That's Enough, written by and starring Diana Maria Riva, and the smash hits The Pages of My Diary I'd Rather Not Read by Eydie Faye and The Catholic Girl's Guide to Losing Your Virginity and The Catholic Girl’s Guide to Sex, both written by and starring Annie Hendy, which enjoyed sold out runs at the Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles. Other favorite new works include Richard Oberacker and Rob Taylor’s Don’t Make Me Pull This Show Over, Mark Halpin’s The Kid in the Dark, Ben Magnuson's Four Minutes, Tom Korbee's Will It Ever Stop Raining?, and Todd Almond’s The Earth is Flat.

He is Professor Emeritus of Acting and Directing at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where he served as the Chair of the CCM Acting Department for 25 years. Directing credits at CCM include The Burials, Clybourne Park, The Government Inspector, H2O: A Play about Water (also seen in the Edinburgh, Scotland and Cincinnati Fringe Festivals), Middletown, Pentecost, The Heidi Chronicles, Speech and Debate, The Crucible, Big Love, The Laramie Project, Coram Boy, RENT, You Can’t Take It With You, Anon(ymous), Bat Boy, Once, Brigadoon and Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches.  

As a resident artist with the Human Race Theatre Co., favorite directing credits include On Golden Pond, Race, Red, Doubt, Proof, I Am My Own Wife, and A Delicate Balance. For five years he was the artistic director of Hot Summer Nights in Cincinnati, where he directed Violet (with Ashley Brown), Hello, Dolly! (with Pamela Myers), Godspell (with Shoshana Bean and Leslie Kritzer) and the premiere of We Tell The Story: The Songs of Ahrens and Flaherty, in collaboration with Stephen Flaherty.

He has taught master classes in Beijing, Amsterdam, Nairobi, Tallinn, Tartu, and across the United States. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Kenya, where he directed The Collapsible Space Between Us for World Refugee Day, and Kumi na Mbila. He is an associate member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers (SDC).

Mark Halpin is an Associate Professor and head of the Scene Design program at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, where he has designed over 50 productions. Mark has designed scenery for the Williamstown Theater Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Human Race Theatre, Arizona Opera, Phoenix Theatre Company, Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, Stages St. Louis, Theater by the Sea, and Honolulu Theater for Youth, among other regional theatres. As a designer with Jack Rouse Associates, he has created scenery for numerous theme parks and entertainment venues around the world, including Universal Studios - Florida, LegoLand Windsor, Six Flags parks, Radisson and Princess Cruise Lines, and Steven Spielberg's The Dive restaurant. Fond of exploring far-ranging creative pursuits, Mark has created word puzzles and games for the New York Times and NPR programs, and his original musical The Kid in the Dark was named Cincinnati's Best Alternative Production of 2007.
